The Sport Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan have many programs and services that can be utilized by Provincial Sport Organizations and their officials/referees. Too often, officials do not have access to the same type of support services and programs that most athletes, coaches and teams are afforded.
The purpose of this document is to provide a collection of best practices from various PSO websites that have well-organized information for officials. It will also provide examples of current technology that can be used to assist with the recruitment, retention and development of officials.
