Sask Sport is committed to the growth and development of the province’s amateur sport community.
In addition to annual funding of member organizations, we work in several program areas that support amateur sport groups, promote athlete development and foster safe, inclusive sport experiences.
Adaptive Sport
A program to support club development and equipment purchases.
Give Kids a Chance Charity Inc.
A registered charity that serves children in Saskatchewan who face barriers to participation.
Glenn Tuck Memorial Scholarship
An annual scholarship program supporting up to five post-secondary students.
Indigenous Sport Leadership Council
A community-based committee that assists the Sask Sport Board of Directors.
Indigenous Sport Enhancement Program
An initiative to develop and prepare athletes for major competitions and multi-sport games.
Keep Sport Healthy, Safe and Fun
Best practices, policies and resources to prevent and respond to bullying, abuse, harassment, discrimination, maltreatment and conflict in sport.
Officials Development
Resources and tools to promote the development and recruitment of officials.
Respect in Sport
Online training, certification and tools for activity leaders, parents and organizers.
Tribal Council and First Nations Coordinator Program
An initiative to build capacity within Indigenous communities to increase access to, and participation in, sport, culture and recreation.
Women in Sport
Professional development workshops and educational resources for coaches and other sport leaders.

General Participation and Indigenous Bilateral Agreement
