Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae headlines Saskatchewan Sport Awards & Inclusion in Sport breakfast

The Saskatchewan Sport Awards are coming to Regina with Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae.

The 2023 version of events will include the annual awards program that celebrates the achievements and dedication of individuals in the amateur sport community, as well as a breakfast panel and membership meeting that will dive into inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility and how the sport community can do more.

The 2023 Saskatchewan Sport Awards program takes place Feb. 1, 2024 with the Inclusion in Sport breakfast taking place Feb. 2, 2024. Both events will be at the Queensbury Convention Centre and hosted by Mae.

An award-winning broadcaster and fashion designer, Mae is a trailblazer in her industry as one of the first females to break into the sports broadcasting industry in Canada. As a sideline reporter with the Toronto Blue Jays on Rogers Sportsnet, Mae consistently delivers engaging interviews and insider knowledge.

Tickets for the events are on sale now. Individual tickets for the awards program can be purchased for $20, while an individual breakfast ticket is available for $30. A combo ticket for both is $45.

Nominations for the awards are still open, with the Recognition Awards category closing on Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m. and the Excellence Awards category closing on Dec. 20 at 11:59 p.m. Nomination forms can be found here.
