March was a full month for Sasha Krakowka, as she collected multiple medals across three events and set a new Canadian record, to earn Athlete of the Month honours.
At the Canadian Junior National Championships in Saskatoon, Krakowka earned three gold medals in three separate 10-metre air rifle events, in addition to setting a new Canadian junior women’s record.
Earlier in the month at the First Americas Junior Shooting Championship, Krakowka earned two silver medals and a quota spot for Canada at the Junior Pan American Games. Following that performance, Krakowka defended her title for the fifth year in the row, at provincial championships.
Krakowka was nominated by Saskatchewan Target Shooting Association.
