That’s a wrap on Tony Cote Winter Games

The 2025 Tony Cote Winter Games concluded last week with the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council earning the top spot in the standings.

Following a week of competition, in six sports, including badminton, basketball, curling, hockey, table tennis and volleyball, File Hills Qu’Appelle earned a total of 66 points. A result which also earned the team the Norman Stevenson Award for most improved team.

In a close second place, Meadow Lake Tribal Council tallied 64 points, while Woodland rounded out the top three with 63 points.
