Updates to COVID-19 testing and case management guidelines

The provincial government has updated guidelines for COVID-19 testing and isolation requirements. The changes include fully vaccinated asymptomatic residents who receive a positive COVID-19, rapid antigen or PCR, will be required to self-isolate for only five days, down from 10. Rapid antigen testing kits are available throughout the province for residents to monitor.

For more information on the new guidelines including close contacts and information for residents not vaccinated or partially vaccinated, visit the provincial government’s Dec. 30 news release or the Public Health Order.
