Michael Rogers was elected Chair of the Sask Sport Board of Directors following the organization’s Annual General Meeting on June 16.
Rogers has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2020 when he was nominated by the Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan. He served as the Vice Chair Lotteries on the board in 2021-22.

At the AGM, members of the sport federation elected four new members to the Board:

- Brett Hines, nominated by Skate Canada — Saskatchewan
- Mason Medynski, nominated by Basketball Saskatchewan
- Colina Paul, nominated by Saskatchewan Archery Association
Hines previously served a one-year term on the board in 2021-22 and was re-elected at the AGM.
Lance Dudar, Past ChairOn behalf of the board, I would also like to extend my gratitude to all of Sask Sport’s member organizations for everything they do to support and promote amateur sport across Saskatchewan.
The last few years have presented many challenges and I’m incredibly proud of what this membership and the larger amateur sport community has done to support athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers during this time.
Your commitment has ensured people across Saskatchewan continue to have access to — and benefit from — high-quality, safe and inclusive sport experiences that demonstrate why Sport is More than a Game.
