Podbielski reaches the podium to receive November Athlete of the Month

While competing at the U SPORTS Cross Country Championships in early November, Jonathan Podbielski raced to a bronze medal and earned Athlete of the Month honours.

In the men’s open division, Podbielski finished in third place, with a time of 23 minutes and 32 seconds and claimed the first U SPORTS Cross Country Championships medal for the University of Regina Cougars in over ten years.

Podbielski also competed in the team event, with the Regina Cougars finishing 16th with a combined team time of 2:05:14.

Podbielski was nominated by Saskatchewan Athletics.
