Join Sask Sport and other organizations across the country on Feb. 28 to unite in kindness and inclusion on Pink Shirt Day.
Pink Shirt Day is recognized nation-wide as anti-bullying day. Originating in 2007, David Shepherd and Travis Price — a pair of Grade 12 students in Berwick, Nova Scotia — handed out 50 pink shirts to support a Grade 9 student who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
Sask Sport believes that sport should be healthy, safe, fun and welcoming for all participants. To join us in making a difference, purchase your at-cost Sport. It’s More Than A Game. pink t-shirt for $6. Adult and youth sizes are available.
Sask Sport employees will wear pink shirts on Feb. 28 and we invite the amateur sport community to do the same – whether it be in classrooms, workplaces or anywhere in between.
