Competition has wrapped across the 17 sports that were featured for the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games that was hosted by neighbouring northwestern communities of Meadow Lake and Flying Dust First Nation.
Saskatoon’s district team finished the week at the top of medal standings after tallying 109 medals and were named the overall champions. They accumulated 30 gold, 37 silver and 42 bronze medals with the highest medal total of 25 being claimed across speed skating events.
