Saskatchewan Weightlifting Association has first adaptive competitor

Scott Glass made history on the weekend for the Saskatchewan Weightlifting Association by becoming the first adaptive athlete in the sport in the province.

After three months of training, Glass competed in a Saskatchewan Weightlifting Association event on May 30, as well as in the Canadian Masters of Olympic Weightlifting in the Para Weightlifting category. He lifted a total of 113-kilograms in the competition.
