Member Benefits
Sask Sport’s membership consists of Provincial Sport Organizations, multi-sport/service groups and sport, culture and recreation districts that serve Saskatchewan’s amateur sport community.
Any sports association or organization may become a Sask Sport member upon application for membership, submission of evidence of meeting the membership conditions, payment of the prescribed membership fee and approval by the Board of Directors. Complete membership criteria is available below.

Sask Sport ‘s active members who are recognized on the ‘Minister’s Eligibility List’ are eligible to receive funding and grant opportunities to support their members and community. Funding for these grant programs is provided by the Sask Lotteries Trust Fund.
Sask Sport’s active and affiliate members gain access to Sask Sport programming. This includes advisory services from Sask Sport consultants, access to organizational resources and the opportunity to participate in a group insurance program.
Member organizations can receive access cost-effective and efficient services from the Admin Centre for Sport, Culture and Recreation, which provides office space, printing and administrative services to non-profit organizations.
Network and professional development
Member organizations — along with their employees, volunteers and members — have opportunities to join educational training sessions and workshops and connect with amateur sport leaders from across the province.
Contribute to sport development
Active and affiliate members vote at Sask Sport’s Annual General Meeting and can nominate individuals from their community to the Board of Directors.
