Maitlan’s two gold and one bronze medal at the 2024 National Championships is an improvement on his medal haul from the 2023 National Championships where he won one gold and one silver medal. Maitlan threw a significant personal best in the seated discus throw, with a performance of 24.91m, beating his previous personal best of 23.30m.
